About THE PROGRAM

The Tipping Point movement recognized a need for community, self-design, and personalized learning for the young people graduating high school and entering university. Today’s education system is successful at educating our academic minds but currently, lacks the resources to educate students in other important aspects of building a successful and fulfilling career. Tip Labs is a self-development program that focuses on success that starts within. It aims to complement the current academic system by guiding post-secondary students through action-based, individualized learning in a small community setting.

ABOUT THE PEER GUIDE

IMG_9820.png

Ji-Youn is a mental health advocate and the founder of The Tipping Point. Through her advocacy work in post-secondary institutions, she recognized the gaps of the formal education system and its impact on student mental health. She then went on to network with the entrepreneurial community and the mental health community of Vancouver where she discovered mentors and friends who have supported her through her self-growth and healing.

In the past 6 months, Ji-Youn has connected with dozens of industry influencers, accessed resources & conferences including Tony Robbin's Unleash the Power Within and Brad Gretzinger Consulting, and has built The Tipping Point into a well-known movement in the Greater Vancouver District. She hopes to use her knowledge and experience to fill in the gaps of the formal academic system and guide post-secondary students and recent graduates through the uncertainty and struggle of early adulthood.
